This'll be my first phone interview but hopefully it'll go good and I'll be on my way to a new career soon. Ive been working here and there for a small company on and off since the end of sept, and this would be the greatest thing ever. That adjusting stuff is good and all but working 5 months and hanging out and doing little piddly stuff for the other 7 is a hard life to live.

If it's a phone interview, that means you can still post in the OT while the other person is babbling on with generic businessman lingo!

Tell him to hold on while you scroll through humpday pics and vote in another of Fatty's polls!

Ask him if he wants to ask me any questions or if he needs a tan, you know where he can get a good deal on one up in the Sherman / Denison area!

Best of luck, Brian! I hope it all goes well for you, brutha!

If you sense it going south, ask the interviewer if they like brussel sprouts, or ask 'em about reunions - yes or no.

If you think you've failed miserably, at least have fun with it. When they ask if you have any questions, ask if it matters if you show up on time, or how long before you can take your first paid day off, or if they have a 4 beer allowance for lunch breaks.

If they ask you if you take a list when you go shopping, that is a trap question.

Hmmm. Have you been listening in on our conference calls? Being on the finance side of business, it seems like every phone conversation has this list of buzzwords peppered throughout.

Well got some great news, the guy from this morning just called me back and said to plan on meeting with the VP of sales here in Wichita in 2 weeks. Said to do the same thing but come dressed up nice, so I'm freaking pumped. Wooohoooo, now I don't have to listen to the wife when she comes home griping about me chilling at home when she's off working.
