While directing traffic at accident scenes I've started paying close attention to the drivers and their habits as they pass.
2/3's of women coming through a crash scene will be squawking on their cell phones. I swear, they can't do anything without talking to someone else on the dang phone.
Conversely, 1/4 or less of the men will be talking on the phone. Perhaps they're just effeminate.
However, many more men than women will drive all the way through a crash scene without ever looking where they're going because they're too danged busy craning their neck out the window so they can get a better look at the crash.
And you wonder why crash scenes are so dangerous for Fire, Police and EMS.
