2012 may turn out to be a very interesting year. A repeat of last summer, and some people may have to relocate.

I dont know what to say.

We've been getting an adequate amount of rain here in SE Texas every week for the past month and a half.

Right now, there's another storm approaching here in Houston, and another storm approaching Midland.....

Im hoping the Houston storm doesnt muddy up the creeks again as Im planning to head out this weekend.

I honestly think this is the beginning of the end of the drought.

The long term forecast still shows drought. Even though we have been geeting good rains, we are still in a severe drought category for east TX when looking at overall rainfall.

TWDB shows thirty major lakes in Tx are still below 50% capacity, and ten lakes are essentially DRY.

DallAS and Houston areas look better, but the rest of the state are in serious drought. The season for good general rainfall is about over for this year and if we don't get these rains this spring most of the state will be in deep doo-doo.

We are going to have a wetter Spring than they are forcasting. We have already been getting alot more rain than we were suppose to and it's not even the rainy season. Rain last night, rain Sun night into Mon, and more rain Wed and Thurs of next week. The Pacific storms are coming over the state and one after another.

Rumor is we will get some more rain in the next two weeks. I will believe it when I see it.
