Lake Fork Tackle is out of the 5" flutter spoons in the bar fish pattern. What would be the next best thing and where do I get them? Thanks.

Talon Lures makes spoons. They have a 1.25oz casting spoon I'm just not sure on the size. Call em' (409) 625-1261, they'll answer any questions you have.

Where are you located? I saw some in Cabelas in Allen the when I was in there last week or so. I picked up some of the smaller sizes since I had not seen them anywhere else.

Our Big Dandy's are 4-3/4", 1.25oz.

If Cam at LFM doesn't have the LFT spoons you're looking for try Tackle Warehouse. If you're looking for a Texas dealer, I know Ann's Tackle on Hwy 96 in Jasper used to carry them and still might. You can google her contact info. I bet she'd be happy to ship them to you.

I know the owner personally and the price is right. See if he has a color you like.

What is the best time of the year to throw spoons? I love fishing them but have not in the winter.
