Prayers to the family of the pilot.

About 6 years ago I was fishing a tourney on Lake O the Pines and a small plane crashed in the water right in front of me. Everyone on the plane lost their lives.

I'm not sure how this would affect tournaments this weekend. It's not like they can mark chalk lines on the water.

My prayers go out to the victim's family. That's three deaths on Palestine in the last few months.

Sad news for sure but if the pilot was 82 he had a full life and was probably doing what he enjoyed most when he went down.

Hopefully he was the only one on board the plane.

Prayers sent to the family.

Beats living it out in a N home. That's my opinion and understand it may not be the opinion of others so if this offends...... Re-read this sentence.

Such a tragic loss. Prayers lifted for the family & loved ones of the pilot.

I have a call into the Game Warden investigating it to find out if there will be any areas closed off & will post my findings later (if I get a return call).

If the poor guy got out of the plane but still has not been found there will be an all out search for the body that could be over a huge area of the lake.

Doug Fresh, didn't mean to single you out, and know you well enough to know you meant no malice. You're just a quick-witted feller.

We get lots of jokes on TFF without thinking in instances like this. Yours just happened to be the first and I took the opportunity to ask that the forum not make any jokes.

Nothing personal, and no reflection on you as a person. We all know you've got a heart bigger than Texas!

Looks like the search was suspended for the evening and will continue tommorow morning according to the news at 10pm. They reported that all the glass was still in place and not shattered, the harness had also been unbuckled as well.

I just pray they can bring some closure to this situation quickly for the families sake.
