I have a Bantam Curado B3.8:1 reel that I bought a good while ago. What would you throw with this reel ratio?

Deep cranks. I had one and it was very smooth but slow so I put 6.2:1 gears in it.

Really Slow but excellent on Big Cranks but you have to grind like Crazy to get them down. I get those reels all the time to regear higher. Either 5.0:1 or 6.2:1.

I wish I had one to throw an A-rig with.

I can build you one if you have a higher ratio. I have a set or two of the gears I think.

The Main Gear, The Pinion Gear, The Drag pressure plate, The drags and the yoke has to be changed to make one.

But I will caution you. They are SLOW but I had not thought of A Rigs. That would be ideal.
