This is getting ridiculous. There are way to many big cats being kept these days. Did that Guy really need to keep that fish. What a joke +1 I can't in good concience even consider keeping a fish like that. (Not that ill ever catch one)

I didnt see anything about him throwing it away. If he's a commercial fisherman why would he throw it away? He would be throwing away $ then. If I caught a fish like that i'd take him out of my honey hole and dump him in a lake like Joe Pool  Maybe that would divert some of the pressure LOL

If it was wasted. I don't see why anybody would go to the trouble of icing a fish with what looks to be about 80 pounds of ice and then throw the fish away.

There are plenty of 3-10lb fish here and in Santee Cooper, and I would know I've fished both plenty. So he is a douche and he atleast needs to be spoken to about his ways considering he is a bigtime tournament fisherman.
As far as the difference between catching this fish and shooting a world record buck. If I were to hunt it would be with a Nikon, but venison never goes to waste around me. A catfish that old the flakes on him would be like rubber.
