Caddo Lake Feb. 7th
Made a trip to Caddo with Dearil Jackson to do a little crappie and try out some new jigs from TNT and Crazy Angler.
Dearil fish with a new color from Crazy Angler, Slab Bandit #1000-019 Caddo Magic, Dearil put some nice crappie in the boat using these color.
I fish with Slab Bandit 1000-030 Fire-House Shad and TNT Tackle 1/16oz Red/Red/chart most of our 22 crappie came on this jig.
Typical Caddo crappie this time of the year.
Fishing was on the slow side today, talked with many of my fishing buddy and they were having a hard time putting fish in the boat today.
Lake is about 6” high
Water temp 52 to 55 in the river.
Most of the fish came in 8 feet or less today.
Will be back out on Friday and Saturday this week.
