I have been looking at these and I am almost convinced to get one. I am looking at the 7'0" MH. Wanting a little more power for fishing heavier shakeyheads in deep water.

So, is this a good choice or are there better rods out there for a $100.00.

I bought one for my wife to use so she would leave my dobyns rods alone and was surprised at the quality. I would not hesitate to get one for myself if I needed another spinning rod. I would say they are better than most other rods at that price point.

I have two TFO casting rods and one spinning rod and they have all performed very well.

After Delta Airlines lost $700 worth of my rods on a trip to Mexico, I bought two travel TFO casting rods so I could just carry them on the plane. They are good and are worth the extra money. I first tried BPS travel rods and they were not good at all.
