What technique are you going to be using it on?
Med heavy is a great all around action of a rod

Medium or medium heavy depends on what type of lure and lure weight more than anything else.

Medium heavy for everything except maybe treble hooked baits.

I bought one yesterday and went with a med.
They seem a little stiffer than the label, but I have never used them before.

I have the MH 7' veritas. Great rod. I throw everything from 1/4 oz tx rig to 1 oz jigs on it.
Also landed a 35-40lb flat head on it. lol

Veritas rods most certainly run 1/2 to a full power higher than what they are stated.

For these uses, really you should have a couple of different rods.....but realizing that you say small jigs.....and 1/4 ounce worms and that it is a Veritas......I would go with a medium myself and I own three Veritas rods in the arsenal Of rods own....
They make a Veritas 6'6" Medium with a Xfast tip that would probably do what you want.....They also make one same power with fast tip...

That is what I would do....

I'd get the Medium Veritas. Is is equivalent to most other company's MH.

I find that the 6'6" and the 7' medium heavy are good all around rods for any situation

Sensitivity only matters when your worm fishing and most of the time i feel it in the blanks of the handle. I try and use a little softer tip but a stout butt when im top water fishing. Crankbaits i usually feel the hit with the complete rod

The 6'6" medium x-fast is a great little rod. I say little because of the complete lack of weight and it's got the A sized super compact split grip. It's really comfy if your under 5'10" and don't have the arm length to keep from giging your self in the ribs all day with the longer rod grips.

Use mine mostly for squarebills and 1/2oz lipless cranks.
