My Dad died hard from brain cancer. I don't want to go that way.
My Mother and her Father died peaceably in their sleep.
I have had an old prediction hanging over my head this year that I would die in a firey car crash. If I make it 6 more weeks I will beat that prophesy.
The chances are that I will have a heart attack.
What ever it is I hope I go quickly and without a lot of pain.

In a Blaze of Glory! I don't care if I'm "older" or "alot older", Id just hate to go in a single car crash in a deep ditch where they never find me. I just wouldn't want the people who love me to have to wonder, not knowing, always wondering. I hate to see people on TV wondering what happened to their Mom, Dad Wife or Kids...

I think 55 and quick. I dread/fear getting older. My aunt had brutal Alzheimers (however you spell it), others got various cancers, all died slow and old. I'm thinking this is the way I wanna go

I would prefer to stay in. What about that old leather faced goof ball in the commercial with these stupid numbers all over his suit as he puts on his helmet and says he rode flat out his whole life. Then he kicks his 125 cc yamaha into gear and rides down an old landing strip going every bit of 20 mph. WTH.

All you guys who want to go out at 55 are gonna be missing some of the best times of your lives....trust me. I've been on both sides of that number and I wouldnt trade my time after 50 or 55 for any of the other times.

Hopefully quick, when i'm old, just before the quality of life slips away. Grandpa Shooter's 93, and he's still mentally sharp and in decent physical shape. Gives me some hope.

In one word---------QUICKLY. I do not want my family members to go through a long and probably costly process of seeing me waste awsy. We watched our son go through and 8 year battle with cancer and I do not want that repeated again.
If nothing else, just take me out behind the woodshed and shoot me.

When I do go out I want to make the national news because of it. Whether it be at work emptying 30 rd magazines at bad guys or what.... doesn't really matter as long as it means something. But I'd like to watch my kiddo grow up and start a family before this happens of course.
And what is this bidness in Costa Rica yall speak of??? I'm going there in June...

doing what i love - my wife  seriously though. i'm not sure i mind as long as i'm not in a nursing home with someone wiping my butt after i call the nurse button. i've been in rehab type facilities and i feel so bad for the people that are sitting next to me and suddenly smell ripe. i couldn't do it.
