I hate to say it but I am kind of drawn to this. It's more than a bunch of guns and some dried food. That is part of it though. I am getting more prepard to be more self reliant for longer periods of time. My dream would be to get off the Gris all together. Kookie I know but it holds some water.

I've thought about how good it could be to walk away from it all, but I fear it's like anything that you romanticize, and not nearly as great as you think. I would like to buy a cabin way back in Ouchita mountains somewhere though. (high speed internet, of course, though)

Never seen the show, but I somewhat am a prepper. I just like being prepared is all. I just see so much [censored] going on everyday with this country, you never know what may happen. A seed vault is what you need. Bullets will only last so long, then they will be mostly for a means of protection, not hunting. All the folks who just say "I will just stock up on ammo, i can kill my meals because im a hunter..." Well, what do you think every other man in this country is gonna try to do? I also thought this said pepper. Figured this was gonna be about the Bhut Jolokia chili pepper
