Fished alone today on Lewisville...except for the 125 BassMaster fisherman. Spoke with two guys and they had not caught any. It has been a tough tournament. Anyway, I got out at 11 and fished till 3. About 2pm I finally caught a sandbass, then another, then another and that was all. It sure is neat to see a fish come up and bite your bait on the graph! The water is stained all over the lake. There are birds wanting to work but very few did any diving today during the day. At least the winds were decent. Enjoyed the trip all the same.

That's exactly how yesterday was. I marked a whole lot of fish and a ton of bait but could not get anything to bite. There are a ton of people pre-fishing for this weekend's tournament right now. I talked to a couple guys and they said they got skunked also. The fish are just not cooperating very well right now on LL

I though a fifty thousand dollar boat was supposed to help you catch fish. What's the deal??

I've been hearing the same story from those bass fellas for over a month now. Guys coming in from out of state and not catching a single fish in 2 or 3 days on the water. You may want to scale your baits down a bit. Some of the blues we're catching are spitting out really small threadfins about an inch long or so. Looks like they just hatched a month or two back.

Some one has got it and that will continue til end of april!

Hey if anyone talks to bass guys,the bass are in 60 degree water,i went there and caught 4 and do not even like the green thing!

The Bassmasters kept me off the lake. Grapevine's report is about the same as LL.

I am not a black bass fisherman, but surely I could catch a few in three days of fishing. They need to slow down and fish in one area.

Went out yesterday at about 3pm - the parking lot took me by surprise with all those expensive trailers and trucks. Caught about a dozen sandbass and overall had a good day.

Giving serious thought to buying a dozen shiner minnows and heading out again this week ... its been awhile since I took home a nice stringer of green fish for dinner! ... of course, I might get lynched by all these tournament guys.

Those guys are already in a bad mood. No need stirring the pot. No need going to lake park either. The place was packed on Tuesday and that was only a practice day.
