Fished with Fishboy Frank and crew yesterday and had another one of those "One of the best days I've ever had" again banana It was a trip right on up there with the best of them. We literally had the 120qt cooler full in 1 hour of fishing, but the fishing stayed that way until we flat just left them alone about 4pm. The number of fish we caught would sound like a lie.

Even got to move around a few time looking for bigguns. I hit my #1 big fish spot and it did not dissapoint. Lost one of the biggest striper I have ever seen on Twok close to the boat. About 10 minutes later caught this almost 14# Beast Hybrid banana Might shoulda taken this guy to town. My spring scales weigh light. I checked them when I got home and a 10 pound weight showed just under nine.....wow! By any rate, it is the biggest hybrid I've had in my new boat.

I still have a bunch of weekdays to fill and will run the party boat economy trip every Wednesday in the month of February. Call me at 214-415-0166. Thanks, Matt!

For a true fisherman words cannot fully or truly describe this day with Matt. I've never caught this many fish in the ocean! From the opening bell to the closing bell we caught fish. Aaron, Brian, Herman and I had the trip of a lifetime. Being the day before the full moon this is what I was hoping would happen and the fish and Matt did not disappoint. Brian and I were talking how sore our arms were but it was a good sore. I'm telling you Matt will try and fish until he's put you on the last fish in the lake! Matt I also have to share my new little trick came up with. Brian and I did it all day and it was working. It hit me to "tap" the rod a few times every 30- seconds or so. Man it worked. It was like it irritated them into biting. Also got to have a nice chat in the morning with Joe Read. Was nice to finally meet Joe after all these years of hearing about a legend of a guide. I've fished a lot of places and lakes and oceans and streams and this trip is in my top three "Hall of Fame" trips. Matt many thanks for the hard work and great day. Will never forget it. Happy Fishing.

P.S. I was shooting to be humble and try and catch the smallest fish of the day. I think Aaron and I may have tied! After catching monsters all day Aaron and I caught a couple smaller hybrids and Aaron said, "Minnow..." We literally had to have thrown back over (150) sandies, hybrids and stripers. Just amazing.

Paul thanks! I sent several pictures out last night since it was one of those epic catching days. From the looks of your picture Hubbard is doing just fine for you! Man what a winter we are all having. It's not fishing it's catching.....

When a thought hits I run with it. Contacted Ray Sasser of the Dallas Morning News after our last trip with Matt. Just hit me so I sent a note to the Southwest Outdoors people. There's a note on their homepage page that they are on a break and picking back up in March. Never know Matt- if they call I get 1/2 price on my next trip! LOL...
