The day started off slow,cold,windy,and cloudy but it actually turned out to be a great day the sun came out and so did the fish once I found the right pattern it was lights out the hybrids that were introduced to the lake in 2009 are now undoubtedly thriving for sure! got to put my new johnny morris carbonlite reel and my new kistler rod to the test and boy did they do nothing but impress!! the reel is so light,casts were super smooth and distant,drag was excellent,and was very smooth under pressure of the fish.I was also very impressed with the rod just an awesome setup. Wasnt instigating anything, just trying save the guy a ticket, if he didnt know. In that picture there is atleast a $500 fine, maybe $750 depending on the 2nd fish from left in top row. That would be a expensive fishing trip

We both caught our 5 fish limit and they were all 19 or better cause we measured all of em...i'm aware of the rules and regulations what made you think otherwise?

that one little one in the tailgate is a white bass and the others in the front of that pic look shorter cause of the angle the pics were takin in the back of my truck but all were measured and they were all legal.

5 fish limit X 2 fishermen = 10 total hybrids allowed to be in your truck/tailgate. I count 12. I am not debating the fact they are at least 18".

Great trip for you and glad you were able to get on some good Hybrid fishing. Just be careful next time and pay attention. Also I wish I would have been there to get on some of that good fishing you had on this trip
