I know I haven't posted much about all my fishing here in Biloxi. Mostly because it wouldn't help ya much. But I gotta show ya this one. While trout fishing the other evening, I hooked into a monster red. Caught on 7'6" medium action Falcon HD rod, 12lb mono, and a matrix shad on a 1/4oz jighead...like I said, trout fishin.

45 minutes to land her. I'm not braggin about this fish.....pure luck and accident...lol. It was a thrill though! She unfortunately fought to the death. Only 11 lbs of the Mississippi record. Oh, she was 47 inches.

Sorry, she was 33lbs.

Helluva fish Kyle. Good to see you into them over there. We need rain for the Nueces white bass run. Bet you'll miss it a little bit even though your catching monsters over there, lol.

Mike I will definitely miss the white bass run. But all these good eating inshore fish will make it easier to deal with...

Awesome fish! It's strange not seeing you in your trusty canoe. I am going to try to find some of your crappie and whites this year.

I had many great years in the canoe, and I still have it, but that boat opens up soooo many more options. I live 2 min from a great boat ramp on base, so I do alot of fishing here.
