Slim pickens, today. I worked in Mesquite at a couple of Jacks in the box, a Taco Bueno, and a Spaghetti Warehouse.

I also inspected the extinguishers at a facility that specializes in wound debreedment (sp)! That was not very appetizing!

It's the process of getting dead or decaying skin or flesh off of a wound.

Maybe some of our TFF Medical Professionals will chime in! Frank I empties a good bedpan, I hear! He's prolly too busy watching replays of the Super Bowl, though.

They gotta SCRUB dead skin off of burn victims. I asked what that screaming was and that's what the safety guy said they were doing!

Sceyene and Towneast. Both kitchens pretty clean. Sceyene is a newer building, so it's a little better, but both are the normal corporate chain, pretty clean.

Spaghettis Warehouse falls under the same review. You might like this - there is a chicken hawk nesting on the south side of the Spaghetti Warehouse in a palm tree! I saw her go u there several times today. Once, she had something (unrecognizable) in her talons.

The City of Irving has part of their web site dedicated to the Health Depts. grading of local restaurants. Very interesting. Almost enough to make you want to quit eating asian and mexican foods.

Debridement or scrubbing the dead skin from the burn area is considered to be one of the most painful medical procedures practiced today.

On September 10, 1975, (Kansas) I had a head-on collision with a drunken driver. I was driving a gasoline tanker.

After practically 37 years I still feel "phantom" burn pains in my legs. I awaken often to my own screams from the indescribable pains from the burns and the procedures that followed.
They in reality are no more, but I have never stopped feeling them. And now with the circulation problems in the legs, all is just that much worsened.
The kind of pain that makes one literally wish for death in order to find some peace.

I know some are thinking, as they always do...I have been asked before, and yes, I have upon occcasion tears on my face. The last thing in the world I could possibly care about is who knows it or what they think about it.
Compared to the pain and the desire for some relief, few other things have any importance to speak of.

Alton, I did not intend a hijack of your thread.
Please allow me a little latitude here, just wanted to say something.

No problem, NC!

Sorry to hear about the accident, but we do appreciate you shedding a little (or ALOT) of insight on the subject!

Hope all is well,
