I doubt that anyone would give you waypoints unless they were really close friends. Personally I WOULD give you areas of the lake that have produced. In most cases waypoints wouldn't do you any good anyway. The fish move and by the time you got there they would be somewhere else.
Unfortunately I can't help you with the places you asked about. But I would if I could. That is what I thought this forum was all about.

For clarification purposes, I would not ask for specific spots and\or baits. I read multiple posts\threads and try to pick up tidbits of information\techniques that I could use on any lake. I can find my own fish and I would not have a problem helping someone else out. My comments were about the responses that I see in regards to someone else's inquiry about a fishing report. I understand that this is the internet and that critical information should be discrete. I fish for fun, whether it be in a tournament or a couple of hours after work. So with that said, can someone send me some good waypoints for Lake Fork where you are catching overs? (I am joking so don't beat me up to bad)

Throwing ideas and techniques is one thing but that ain't what most people want. I am all for someone who is trying to become a better fishermen, but most people are to get the prize without the work. That is what I have a problem with, few people want to know the thought process you had to find them, they just want to know "where de at?" and there is nothing I hate worse than a telephone fisherman, ESPECIALLY the ones that tournament fish this method, an then if they do catch em stand around all proud like they done something.

I am Old School TFF, and when I joined the main purpose of this forum, and it was in the Guidelines, that the TFF is for sharing information and exchanging ideas.
So most of old school guys have no problems doing that, I can't speak for the new guys on here. Now I doubt they will GPS you honey holes, but most will at least try to set you in the right directions.
Mr Red Ranger- I have been laughing at your posts for some time now but this one is the best- I am a younger fisherman and I really enjoy this forum as it allows me to learn things from guys who really know how to fish- I seldom ask and wouldn't care if someone didn' want to share any info- But to the guys who do share, thanks- Also, if there is a red ranger fan page, I would like to sign up-

Barrett- If I knew the guy like you do, I believe I would try to set up a fund raiser- You could have ," A night with RED RANGER"- I think it would be a hit- He could discuss the great one's strategies for deep structure, or the pimp daady's pre-spawn guidelines- Fishing the grass like a guru- I bet there is money to be made with this guy- As always no disrespect intended to the MAN-

Everbody gettin real closed mouth all of a sudden,.....! !
Is there a tournament comin up or somethin,..! !
Asked a guy about Ray Bob,......the guy went into a trance,......
Asked a couple of guys about Texoma,......they look at each other,....then look at me like i`m ignorant,....( actually made me feel right at home )...........
Can`t a guy get a couple of GPS points without being treated like a pro @ a tues.night jackpot ? ? ?
Potlicking is an art, spend more time with binos and cruising around pushing the mark button on the gps and less time on the internet.

RedRanger said it the best and on top of that, I do not know any real PRO on this forum that make the money nor travel like the TV Pros. Its funny how the little boys want to act like the BIG boys. I guess some guys just never grow up.

I guess some guys just never grow up. You are assuming that they are posting under the real name then. You would be stunned to know who all in the fishing industry read/monitor/post here on the TFF. There are some guys that post under their names here that are trying to chase that dream. Todd Castledine comes to mind and there are others as well.

I respect the hard work and consideration of those who are trying to keep there status and are trying to make it big, come on most of us are just trying to enjoy scouting, running and trying to have a good time catching fish in our local tournement. I would also like to add, that knowing were the fish are at is just 1/4 of the battle. I have been to a lot of local tournements and here lately there are more and more rude butt heads to be nice, then friendly war fare. Please remember this is just 1 know nothing guys, in which earned his citizenship and was not born here opinion. This is the great U.S.of A. and opinions are free.

Fouzman has the right idea in my book. I fish for fun 90% of the time and will try to help anyone that ask. Some may think its wrong but when it comes to lakes like Falcon and Fork I'll try to give guys exact areas to try that I have had success at. It's not like I'm making weekly trips to them and I just hope everyone can have great trips when they go to those places because they truly are special. I laugh when people are tight lipped about Falcon and they live 8 hours away and make a couple of trips a year, it's not like that lake is even going to be at the same level everytime you go back.

Hope this doesn't help out the BASS Opens that might read it tonight... last weekend I went to Lake Lewisville, I was south of the island in Stewart's Creek, and also in the last cove before "the cut". Oh, didn't catch anything, but that's where I was, hope it helps? (Time before that, I was several other places, I'll be happy to post waypoints except I didn't make any since I didn't catch any... my screen is black with the "didn't catch any" trails, but curiously blank with the "where I caught them" waypoints. Last place I caught fish, in the past 2 weeks I've caught 2 6-pounders... was at 2 ponds in Lone Star Ranch on Lebanon Road in Frisco. 2 6's, several 4s, and lots of 1 to 3s (and 1 4"-er, smallest bass I've ever caught, on a Strike King 5, nearly the size of the fish!!!). It does overflow/run off into LL eventually, if that helps any, but have to trim way up (then load boat onto trailer and drive over) to get to it from the lake, LOL.
For Ray Roberts, haven't been there in months, but in all seriousness, last time I did well finding grass in 4-6ft of water south of IDB park, using swimbaits and caught several 2-4s, but that was a fall bite. As mentioned, waypoints only help occassionally when conditions are right and fish decide to move to those spots, "general" rules are better, such as "around 12', off long points", or "up shallow in 2-4ft of water", or "on submerged structure 16-20ft", or "way back in the creeks". Good luck!
