We have a van and prefer to stay at the shelter sites (less noisy and more room for the boat and car).

They are screened in on four sides with bunk beds. Electricity comes with the shelter, an outside picnic table, water and a fire ring (if fires are allowed).

You need to bring your own mattress, sleeping bag, bedding, probably a table to your stuff. If the weather is cold you might want to bring some tarps to hang along the walls to keep you warm. An electric heater, too.

PM me if you need more info. When are you going? We hope to be there this weekend. Our club has a tournament there on Saturday (only 10-12 boats) and my birthday is on Friday so I asked to go camping and fishing there. We are watching the weather forecast but I am pretty sure we will go.

Thanks for the info, Thinking about going next week for couple of nights with a buddy. 2 or 4 bunks? Shelter sounds good enough for this time of year.

Plus 1 for the shelters. GizmosMom our club will be out there as well this weekend. I think we have around 10 boats as well. Looks like fayette will be crowded as usual.

Two bunks if I remember correctly.

Good Luck BassPro99, hope you do well! If you see a couple with a little dog on a red and white Ranger, it's us!
