went with my father to tawokoni on sunday, freezing cold.only saw 2 other boats all afternoon.plenty of gulls just south of 2 mile bridge but they weren't working -just flapping around.we headed back to holiday when we saw a deer about 700yards off the point near parks ramp.it was heading straight out to the middle of the lake.it would never have made it across the lake,it was really rough.we drove up to it and coralled it with the boat to the shore line.it took about half an hour but it soon got to shore and ran off into the woods.saved a deer but didnt catch any fish.maybe next time

That's probably that guy pulling a stunt in his deer suit. He's out there all the time.

Deer hair is hollow, they are naturally very boyant, excellent
swimmers.

I've seen lots of deer swimming across Tawakoni, never seen a dead one floating. They are excellent swimmers.
