I'm heading to the hospital in about 15 minutes to have some sinus surgery. I called in sick for the week.

The fact that the Souper Bowl is on Sunday night starting at 5:30 eliminates the chance to get chitty, I eat alot, drink ice tea, and go to bed. Then on Monday I gossip about whos missing, claiming they were "sick"

Very poor form to call in sick the day after the Super Bowl. If you know you're going to do it up big, request the day off as vacation.

would have been more if the winning team was from Texas. I left my "party" near the beginning of the 4th quarter..after taking a nap during half-time!! BUT!! If any team from Texas WAS playing, it a whole new story!!

Seems like a good chunk of the office voice-tracked and left early, and a lot of the downstairs printing guys didn't show up. Lots of empty parking places today.

Fired a guy last year for "No call , No show" the day after Super Bowl. The owner sent an email out Thursday, "If your sick the day after the Super Bowl, stay at home, I'll pack your desk for you".
