It isn't much, but my PB by 2lbs. I went out to Hubbard on Saturday with my cousin (ghostfish) and a couple of buddies. We had a pretty good day all in all. I think there were 15+ fish caught between four of us. My cousin started the day off with a nice 17.5lber and then the bowfin went nuts on us. There were a bunch of bowfins, 1 gar, a few smaller blues, a small channel and a shoe caught. I was getting skunked through all of this. Finally, towards the end of the trip, my new combo (10'PA rod with Salt Striker) finally got the skunk off of it. It got a nice slow bend. I reeled down and he was there! It felt like a nice fish. Got it up and it was 17.5lbs! It was 34" long and 20" in girth. I know it isn't big but I was pretty dang excited! My prior PB was 15. I need to break into the 20's this year! As we were packing up, my cousin got another 17lber.

2# to 17.5# is a nice jump. Congratulations on your new PB.
