I was watching Zona's show on Falcon and they were throwing Strike King's Heavy Hook FB Jig.

What is your favorite and why? Also, your favorite trailer?

I like a Santone 1oz FB with a LFT Flipper...that flipper stands up well and we catch a lot of big fish on it at Falcon. The Santone has a GREAT hvy wire hook and the paint is very chip resistant...also they make some killer colors for Fork and Falcon.

they only work on Fork and Falcon?

I had an issue with the hooks in those jigs "spinning out" and skin hooking fish a lot, ever had that happen??

Combat Football Jig stands up well and has a very sharp STRONG hook, my second choice is a Santone. Trailers: Rage Craw, Zoom Super Speed Craw, Gambler Flappy Daddy...

½ oz Talons are good jigs. The wire skirt-keeper is a big plus and the paint on the head is resilient. I usually run a rage craw behind it but the hags undertaker has been my choice lately.

I really like the Rock Crawler FB jigs. The 3/4 oz Blue Bayou and Purple Passion have been working well on Falcon recently. A lot of money was won on Falcon using these jigs last year. They come with a trailer that is matched to the jig, an Xcite Raptor Tail Chunk.

Santone in 3/4 and 1 oz. Doug, Never had a problem with hook ups and yes they work on lakes other than Fork and Falcon. I throw em on Cypress and Sandlin all the time. Caught a 55 lb Flathead last summer on a 1 oz Santone football jig last summer if that tells ya how stout the hook is. Also Santone's cost over a dollar less, come in over 30 colors, and are made right here in East Texas.

I second that, both the 5/8 and 7/8 are killer. Talons football head jig has accounted for over $1 million in tournament winnings. Ben Matsubu won Bass N Bucks on Rayburn just a couple of weeks ago using these.

Here's a vote for Strike King Tour or Chompers. Usually 1/4 or 3/8 oz for shallow cover, 1/2 to 3/4 for deeper or punchin grass.

All Terrain Tackle makes a good football jig that I really like. They have an awesome head design and the paint rarely ever chips on them. I have yet to have a problem with hooks bending or anything. They are some awesome jigs. Try them in the 3/4 ounce size.

Here is a link to where you can order some. They will get you your order fast! Great customer service also at All Terrain Tackle. Give them a try!

Not sure if I make the best but believe I make some of the better ones out there. Sure ship enough of them that way so somebody down there is sure liking.

Here are a couple examples done in 1 oz with a big stout 5/0 Mustad Hook and Hvy Weed Guards.

Solid Purple ( Just did these the other day for a customer )

Jason's Killer Craw ( Named after a Guide on Lake Fork and has sense been copied by a couple other jig companies )

I was being sarcastic about them working on other lakes. azn Maybe the one and only jig I had was a fluke, who knows, that is why I asked if anyone else has had an issue. I caught some good fish on one at Monti earlier this year...
