Cleaning up my storage today and found 2 Abu 752 Cardinals in original boxes. Both all metal with the exception of the bail mechanisim and both made in Japan. I think they are 25+ years old and are in great shape. I can not remeber exactly when I bought them. Thought I would clean & spool each and try them out. Does anyone still use this real? Best I remember they are a decent set up.

Excellent Reel. By all means fish them. I have a guy in my club that is in his late 60's that has fished them as long as I can remember along with Mitchell 300's. He is running short on spare reels for parts and will probably be switching up in his old age (Funny note but not really. Since he retired he started a habit back that he had when he was in his 20's. Smoking).

Coast Tackle:

Thank you kindly, I will do just that and by the way I turn 65 this year. Now that I think about it these reels may be way older than 25 years.
