Is there any way to get a broken drill bit out of the water pick up hole on lower unit? Had some wood in there and was using bit to get it out. Did not have the bit in the drill using it by hand it got caught on the wood and while trying to get it out it broke off. I assume you can pull the lower unit and get it out but don't want to do that besides don't have time. If there is no quick easy fix guess i'll just use my gps for speed indication.

I had a yamaha, that I did the same thing I found that you can take a pair of needle nose plies and pull the metal tube out take you time and try not to bend if you do you can buy another
some tubes have a small amount of glue that is why you need to twist as you pull out

NO NO NO. Do Not pull the Pitot Tube out of your lower. Go to he hardware store or the auto parts store and buy an EZ-Out.

If you were using a small enough diameter bit, you may also be able to jiggle the bit loose with a stiff piece of wire and extract with a tiny, cylindrical magnet.
