You can expect Rayburn to come up a good bit this next week. I crossed over the Angelina & Attoyak rivers north of Rayburn going to Pinkston today. Both rivers are way over their banks. Most this year imo.

Another good site for lake information is http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/samray/ You can get alot of information for Rayburn and many other lakes as well. Look under the reservoir control section; daily reports; and pick your lake..then you can choose what type of information you are looking for such as rainfall, elevation, etc..

I would settle for flipping johnson grass right now. Anything is better than bare sandy banks. I would love to see it hit at least 158 by mid march.

I looked at a website earlier and it showed that Rayburn hasn't been higher than 156 since Sept 2010. So even if it can get to 157 we won't be fishing sandy banks but instead small brush and grass. Continue to pray for more rain!

I was starting to like it the low level. It's gonna be sketchy running when it comes up a few more feet.

Yeah I've got use to it but I'm ready for it to come back up. Love flipping buck brush and it seems like forever and a day since I've done it.
