So my son and I went to Squaw Creek yesterday. It was really slow. I ended up catching a 3 lb'er and he caught a catfish on a crankbait. Around noon, we to the cove directly across from the boat ramp to take a break from battleing the wind.
This is were it gets funny/interesting. I mentioned to him "that stump looks like an alligator" and we chuckled. It looked like two stumps, one stump about 6" wide or so and the other maybe about 2" wide, both about 6" wide and just above the surface. The "stumps" were about 75-100 yds away. I mention to him "that would be freaky if that was an alligator" and about 5 seconds after I said that, I watched the "stumps" slowly submerge. I looked at him and said "holy chit, did you see that. They are gone." We sat there for the next 20 minutes and laughed in a mysterious way.
I told him it could be possible, especially as warm as the water gets/stays year round.
So, I don't have any pics and he likes to watch them "Sasquatch sighting" shows, but are there alligator(s) in Squaw Creek?
