I was at the allsups in Justin at about 11:50 the Sunday morning of the NASCAR race. There were seriously over 50 people lined up around the building waiting for noon. Was.hilarious

It keeps you from getting your beer on the way to Sunday service and being tempted to pop one a little early. Especially if your walking.

Them religious folks sure got some funny ways. In Tennessee they have to close all of the beer joints between 10am and noon on Sunday. If we were inside the owner would just lock the door and here the cops would come. Thirty motorcycles out front and the bar was closed. Good times.

This is a perfect example of why the 21st Amendment should have never been ratified....

With all the druggies to bust and whatnot, the cops would leave a bootlegger alone. You could hit all the stores on Saturday night and buy them out, fill up a frig in your garage, and spread the word that you've got the Sunday morning beer. You could charge what you want and people would still be grateful.

Holy cow! I would not want to be around those sour pusses either. I would be sorely tempted to make them some hot apple cider with cinnamon and a stiff shot of strong rum. They look like a smile would cause their face to shatter and fall off.

In college, I worked at a Centennial Liquor store. Twice a year we had inventory morning on a Sunday. Without fail, someone would bang on the doors and windows demanding we open even though it is clearly illegal to sell hard liquor on a Sunday!

It does not take that much prior planning to get beer Saturday night that will last past noon on Sunday. However, if you are that desperate to have a beer before noon on Sunday, there is no way you plan ahead for anything.

I think it was Memorial Day weekend and some drunk was in a gas station/convenience store trying to buy gas and get beer. It was before 7:00 am and I guess they could not sell beer until after 7 or 8 in the morning. He was in the store cussing the poor clerk out. Then the stupid guy asked me if I could give him some money for gas. I just ignored him and got out of there. I wished I would have had a cell phone to call the police to do a coffee refill or something to get the guy. He did not need to be driving.

A griend of the family got killed by a drunk driver early on a Sunday morning, he was drinking mouthwash!!

You also can't buy beer before 7am.

My wife and I were headed to Canyon Lake one Sunday morning to try to chase some White Bass. We stopped at a quickie mart to gas up the boat. While I was fueling the boat, my wife went inside the store to get some water and snacks. She evidently wanted to surprise me with some beer (I only had about 4 or 5 in the cooler leftover from Saturday night), and she came walking out of the store with an 18 pack. I couldn't believe my eyes! I got the beer from her and dumped it in the cooler and asked "how in the hell were you able to buy that beer?" She hadn't realized that it was Sunday morning, and neither had the clerk. Best Sunday funday ever. Stupid Baptists, always trying to ruin my funday.
