Curt and I fished Bowman Springs Park Thursday. I caught on Boilies. It's not a great spot for big fish, but it's really easy to fish, and fish are usually there.

Let me know when you're going (and where) and I'll see if I can swing by.

Boilies or range cubes seem to be the most used. I use range cubes. Corn/maize is right up there too.

The way boilies are conventionally used, boilies ARE your chum, and you're putting out lots of them. Here in the US, completely different than the UK, we use boilies mostly as hookbaits only and put different stuff out, partly because preparing large amounts of boilies is time consuming or buying them is expensive. I don't do this all that much just because of the "match the hatch" idea. If you're feeding out maize or range cubes which have maize in them, why not fish something similar or the same as what is out there on the rigs than go completely different with a boilie?

Or, you can remedy this by adding boilies to whatever you put out smile

I hope they work, I used a simple recipe........corn meal, sugar, tiny bit of oil and a few eggs.....tossed in some strawberry kookaide mix for color and extra flavor...
