Both of you guys put on a SUPER Kayak Fishing presentation at yesterday's Dallas Boat Show. If you missed their clinic, you can come out out to Market Hall next Saturday to catch it again.

Both of you guys and your fabulously tricked out yaks have been a real asset to our Mariner Sails team and we are proud to have you with us at the show. It was amazing yesterday to see the large number of people who were literally salivating over your Ride 135 and Pro Angler. Your passion for kayak fishing and your sharing of that love is very obvious to everyone who visits the booth and has already resulted in quite a few sales.

KUDOS TO EACH OF YOU AND THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR LOVE OF THE OUTDOORS, FISHING, AND KAYAKS TO OUR DALLAS BOAT SHOW VISITORS!!!

Shaun and Robbie are truly becoming North Texas's kayak fishing ambassadors...and both are nicely suited for the job.

I saw them at the 5:00 show yesterday. Other than the sound system petering out it was a great seminar.

Thanks for the complements guys.
A couple years ago I was living in a crummy neighborhood where the neighbors played music at 2am a few times a week. I thought I was about to go crazy. I got down on my knees and asked for a place away from where I was. Being a little short of money to make the down payment on a house I had to put up my bass boat that I so dearly loved. Not a awesome huge 20' bass boat, but one I had a special attachment to.

I sold it, and almost immediately got the house of our dreams here by Ray Roberts lake. Now I had to scratch my head because of the irony. Here I was now blessed to live out in the peaceful country with the house of our dreams. I was even within 2miles of a beautiful lake. But I had no boat!!!! Whats up with that? hmmm
So I started looking for a cheap way to get on the water to fish. I do some research and see that people are fishing out of the little plastic boats called kayaks. I figure I could "make do" and fish out of one of them for a year or so until I could get to where I could afford a REAL boat.
Well today I realized I am in a REAL boat. I love my kayak and the abilities it gives me to fish in places my bass boat never did. I've made some great friends through kayak fishing in the last couple years that never would have happened if I didn't make the decisions that I did. I now have no intentions to buy a bass boat. But instead show people how to fish out of a kayak. Life just became a little bit more simple for me today. thumb thumb thumb

I want to thank all of you for the kind words. It isn't necessary because all I'm doing is sharing something I have a passion for.

I too have come from a bass boat and tournament fishing. I joined the Plastic Navy about a two years after my son was born. I'll take that trade any day!

I've met some great people this past year and look forward to fishing with all of you this year.

You guys did a great job. You make us DFW yak fishers proud.
Most of us have come from the boat owner to yak owner.
I still have a boat and all I do is put a new battery in it every two years. It never moves.
