So, I had a hydraulic steering leak and needed to get it fixed ASAP as I wanted to fish, and having a leak is not a safe boating experience. I called Gary up at Tracker on 183 yesterday and he says, if you can have it at the shop by 9 I will do it while you wait. So I haul my boat up there (I live in south austin) and am there when they open the door. They take my boat right in and start working on it. I was watching thru the little window on the door and Gary sees that I am peering in and says, you can go in. He takes me in, introduces me to the mechanic (Trey) that is working on the boat and I stand around and watch them do the deal. Trey is a great guy, we start talking about boats and such then he brings out this cool tool to bleed the system. Dang, nice to have all the right tools. They finished it up and I am out the door by 10. Does it get any better than that? If you have not tried these guys you need to give them a shot. They certainly took care of me and my boat and in record time. Price was comparable to others and they did it in an hour. No extra trip to pick it up.
I have no affiliation with this shop,I just wanted to pass along a good story about how well I was treated. Nice to be able to relay a good story once in a while.
Getting ready to watch my son weigh in at the FLW Amistad college event at 1:30. Hope he is on em!
