Had a great day trout fishing on the Blue River near Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Caught 5trout weighing a total of 10.5 lbs.. The largest weighed 3.5 lbs. and the nextlargest weighed 3lbs. Had several break me off on rocks. Using UL rod,US180 super caster reel, and BerkleyPower bait in the Salmon,Peach colored trout dough. Trout derby here on the weekend of February 18th. Lots of prizes and lots of big fishwill be released for the derby. Beautiful place to fish and camping with no additional charge.

I thought it was 11.5 pounds???

George swears it was 11.5 but I wrote down the three weights and they totalled 10.5. I was fishing above the slab by the sycamore tree. Caught one this morning that weighed 2.1 lbs. Didn't get another bite. water was very murky. They re-stocked the river this morning but the trout were not the real big ones like the last stocking. Fishing should be a little better tomorrow. Come on down.
