So I decided to fish Rayburn yesterday and today before front blows in. Got on the water yesterday at 7 am but fog was to heavy to run. Finally around 8 I was able to run up to mid lake. Started fishing a favorite hole of mine but couldnt get bit. Looked in the back of a cove/creek and noticed the water was alive! Figured it was whites but trolled my way back there anyways. First cast with a KVD 1.5 and wham. Reeled it in and it was keeper largemouth. From 8 - 1:30pm I was by myself and the fish continued to school. I caught them on yellow magic, spinnerbaits, flukes and rattletraps. It was amazing.Caught probably 30 with the biggest being a 5lber. Left that place and went to another cove and ended up catching 20 more. Got back on lake at 9:30 this morning and went back to see if the fish were schooling again and yes they were. From 9:30 til 1 I caught 35 on a KVD 1.0 and 1.5. This was by far the best trip I've ever had. It's kinda funny cause I asked several people to come with me but due to work none of them could manage. Oh well I had a ball but will probably never see these kinda days again.
