i caught that monster i caught at marine creek a few years back and i got her this time and she was pushing five pounds and i got her on at the guys house now for the mount it was 4.89lbs and i am getting a mount i repeat i am getting a mount this may upset some of u but i dont have anytype of camera so a mount is all i can do and before u say i posted a pic the other day my friend took it with his phone and sent it to my email and hes not around today

I don't read anywhere that it was a crappie. In fact, I don't read anywhere that it wasn't a 4.89 lb boot! I bet he had to back reel for about 45 minutes to get that boot in too...lol.

My house backs up to Fossil Creek and I was fishing this exact spot last Sunday! I've caught crappie (smaller than yours) sunfish, catfish, and tiny largemouths all upstream in the deep area around the bend from this rock bridge.

i talkedto a guy today that said he and his brother pulled out a big flathead from there and he had a pic and indeed it was big it was about 50lbs
