How many of you guys have purchased this and use it for planning out how you will fish a body of water? I just picked up my LakeMaster v2 chip last week and I was very impressed with it at Falcon. I read about the software online and it *looks* like it could be a great planning tool for a tournament fisherman......but I'd like to hear some opinions before I shell out $150 for it.

Any input??

BTW.....I tried the search feature and it says it has been disabled....so sorry if there are already 100 threads on this topic.

Are you talking about the Contour Elite software?

Arai, I Purchased the Contour Elite Oklahoma/Texas Version 1 shortly after it was released. I had some concerns about my home lake (Ray Roberts) not being available in HD so, I called Lakemaster and they answered all of my questions. I have spent a lot of time using the program, locating waypoints, Brushpiles, humps and ledges, and expoloring other areas with the 3-D view. I had over 600 waypoints on my Humminbirds using my Navionics card and the comparison of contour lines left questions in my mind as to which card was closest to being correct. So, I run both cards.

Contour Elite is an amazing and fun program to use but it took me a little time getting use to the different things that you can do. I will buy the HD Version 2 when released (shortly).
