Went out this morning. It was pretty windy for my lil john boat. I caught 1 right off the bat over the grass on a rattletrap. Then moved to the sticks where most of the boats were. Pulled in 5 more between me and my brother on texas rigged trickworms. We only fished till noon. Only my 2nd time to fish this lake so I am still trying to figure it out. Any tips greatly appreciated.

if all else fails what we do is flip the reeds. Sometimes they'll be in the thickets stuff sometimes they'll be on the edges. Look for holes in the reeds and fish the reeds by flipping, flukes, senkos, Texas rigs, or frogs. Hope this helps
