I know many people think this is silly/stupid/paranoid but lately more people seem to be discussing the matter. Do ya'll see trouble for our country and/or planet coming in the near future? When I say trouble that could be Nuclear War, Economic Meltdown, Natural Disaster, World War III...etc you get the idea. Not saying I believe these things are coming just trying to get some more viewpoints on the matter. Keep in mind:
.National budget deficit broke 1 Tril again this year .Iran appears to be developing Nukes .The global economy is turbulent at best .Obama

You might consider doing just that, my friend. Better to be prepared and not need it than to need it and not have it. Water purification should be your # 1 priority, btw.

It is coming to the US sooner or later, for the same reasons that has already happened over seas, so there is no reason for any of us to be surprised when it does.

I see Isreal/iran causing the middle east to go ballistic (maybe literally). I can make it for 2-3 yrs at some property I have access to. watching euel gibbons is gonna pay off one of these days.

I suspect sometimes that we are but one crisis away from a meltdown. Now, whether that is some kind of blow-up in the Mid-East, or some European country going belly-up financially, or if our Stock Market craters, another terrorist attack here, your guess is as good as mine what it will take. But, things could get ugly overnight, really ugly in about a week or so (depending on if the electric grid failed), and massively ugly after a month.
I suspect sometimes that we are but one crisis away from a meltdown. Now, whether that is some kind of blow-up in the Mid-East, or some European country going belly-up financially, or if our Stock Market craters, another terrorist attack here, your guess is as good as mine what it will take. But, things could get ugly overnight, really ugly in about a week or so (depending on if the electric grid failed), and massively ugly after a month.

I don't know. Judging by the many fools out there running around I would bet the first places under seige would be electronics stores, liquor stores and places that sell high dollar, name brand tennis shoes, lol. Remeber New Orleans and Katrina? Sure, some folks will go for groceries but plenty of others not smart enough to distinguish need vs want. LOL

I remember that and that's why I will head for the hills. Once the grocery stores are empty, there is nothing good that's going to happen in any city.
