I have my annual trip to Lake Texoma a week from today. We always stay on the west end (Sheppard), but I'm a little iffy this year.

Is the water too muddy from all of the rain last week? Also, we've had a mild winter so I don't know if the fish have migrated that far.

Should we re-think our strategy and stay somewhere farther east?

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

Haven't been much west of mill creek. I can tell you I havemt migrated that far west yet...soooo, my thought is neither have most of the fish since I'm catching them all in the mid lake area still...

I will tell you today the water temps have risen 5 degrees since Sunday and the fish were going nuts.. It was like an early fall day out there today. Tons of birds really working and all our fish came on banana colored sassy Shad from Moes tackle. And all were caught in the top 10 feet of the water column .. Some were even busting the top... Very aggressive as the rains came in today...
