It's a terrible situation. It happens to me when I am not sleeping well. since I nap at work during lunch that probably explains why it happens.

Ugh. Yes. I usually have to get up and walk around a bit.
What about in the middle of the night, all is dark and still, and you open your eyes and everything feels like its a million miles away. Even your own pillow feels like its on the opposite end of a football field.

that you are just sitting there and all of a sudden it feels like the bottom has fallen out from under you? Its good policy to pull a maintenance wipe at these times.

I wathced it happen to me once.. although there was a considerable amount of lysergic acid diethylamide involved in that scenario.
