This is not a debate for Maui Vs Costa, but how are the lenses on the Maui's? I have a pair of Kapaluas coming in and am anxious to hear some feedback. Thanks.

I had a pair for a short while, and the visual acuity was better than any others I have owned. The ones I got were super light and blew off my head at about 70mph with the slightest of head turns, so be sure to put a lanyard on them!

Good clarity on my titaniums. Overall fit and finish good. But like anything else fitment and personal preference is up to you!

They're a really thin wire frame, which is the only thing that bothers me. Are they good at blocking out peripheral sunlight? I would hate to be fishing and glance over just to catch a big blast of light into the corner of my eye.

Best sun glasses I have ever owned I have the amber and gray lenses and love both!!! The titanium frames are weightless and very comfortable you will not be dissapointed.

The peripheral coverage is lacking in the titaniums for me, for fishing.

I now use Keanons for fishing.

I have the amber lens for cloudy days and the blue lens are awsome on sunny days with titanium frames.
Also have an old pair with the blue glass lens that are to heavy to wear for long periods of time, but are unbelievable contrast and clarity for fishing. taz

I've owned 3 pair. 1 pair is in the bottom of Amistad, 2nd broke when I sat on them, and the 3rd I'm currently wearing. Yeah... I like em lol but damn they are expensive! The titanium frame is great.... you won't want to buy anything else after you wear them because everything will feel so heavy.

JR mentioned the wind. My buddy wears his when he rides his crotch-rocket and he goes fast ALOT haha. They never have fallen off for him, but lanyard is a great idea!

I know you weren't asking for a review but it all leads up to, yes, the lens are great. When we spot fish in amistad you can see beds 50+ yards. Of course that lake is very clear, but you get the point. Amber for cloudy and the darker lens for sunny.

When your "Living The Good Life", one needs a pair for all occasions.

I tried them on at Bass Pro today with the girlfriend. She likes them on me, and the visual clarity is amazing with them. The one thing that caught my eyes is the lack of the hinges, so they always fit snug, which I like. They also sit very close to my eyes, so I dont think peripheral light will be a problem. They are SUPER lightweight too. My Oakleys feel heavy now. frown Lol.

I have a pair in the Colorado River on Ivie. They were in 100' of water. They flew off when I turned around. Still haven't hit the bottom and that 4 years ago.
