It is not uncommon for an alcoholic to relapse. I will add him in my prayers tonight. He can start over on his quest for sobriety.
I just hope the accident at The Ballpark last summer isn't haunting him.

It is not uncommon for an alcoholic to relapse. I will add him in my prayers tonight. He can start over on his quest for sobriety.
I just hope the accident at The Ballpark last summer isn't haunting him. Probably not because of the accident. This is his second one (that we have heard about) and I believe his first was before the accident.

a relapse isn't the end of the world, he just wasn't done yet. May not be done still. Hope he decides he has had enough before he dies or kills someone.

It does suck that he did that, but he is a strong man and will be fine.
But on a positive note....think he just got cheaper to resign!

he slipped before in 2009, he will always have a battle to fight with addiction, its not the end of the world if he gets back on the right track quick, I hope there were no drugs involved & he gets it together again

I dont know why. Because the world is messed up thats why?? Hamilton gets a "its ok" no matter what he does.
What if Dez, Lamar Odom or Beltran did the same? He would be crucified by the media and fans.
I watched Hamilton speak at our church last summer. Yes hes human but If you want to go around and talk the talk you better back it up. I dont see Dez speaking at my church

If I had to choose I'd rather him relapse with alcohol, and not crack. Alcohol addiction is not funny, but it was nothing compared to his drug addiction. Alcohol leads to it all. It makes you not give a rats arse and you make bad decisions

In my opinion, If he wants a drink and doesn't go off the deep end, let him be. If he misses practice and it effect his job, family, etc. then get involved.
