Hey folks,

Question for you. I have the above reel that I use for crappie fishing. The problem is that the line does not wind evenly across the spool. It is higher toward the front of the spool. Is it worth having it repaired or should I donate it to the local repair shop for parts. It has no sentimental value to me.

Take the spool off and make sure no debris is in the way of it moving up and down. I wouldn't have it repaired seeing as a new combo is under 30 bucks.

You need some washer under the spool, nothing else.

If it is loading forward add washers to the shaft to move the spool forward.

+1

Most of those washers are pretty universal

You need to ad more washers for right spooling the line.

Thanks all. Where can I pick them up? The one on it is a red-orange paper looking one. Just stack some on until it's right?

Thanks again.
