Prepare yourselfs, if Isreal Attacks Iran , there will be no oil coming out of the middle east. They are saying that Isreal is planning to attack Iran's Nuclear Plants and Labs.

Glad all you Internet millionaires got the $$$ to pay for the higher gas prices!

True there isn't anything we can do about it, but I sure don't want to be paying the higher prices!

And the historical highest prices in history was under Bush.

The president has a big influence on gas prices. The long term foreign and domestic policies of the US, IMO, has not been smart for energy or for us.

On another note, has anyone noticed that over the last 6 months while gas prices have gone way up and down that diesel prices have remained constant? Its been around 3.60 and gas price fluctuations don't seem to carry over to diesel.

Have you alerted the fire department yet. I would have someone watch my car overnight if I owned one of those bbqs on wheels.

Heard on the radio this morning that the highest gas prices in the state right now are in the DFW metroplex. Only (it seems anyway) a few weeks ago ... Tarrant County had the lowest prices in the state. What's up with that?

Given the currernt state of world politics, this is such a no-brainer.

I don't fall on the same side of the political spectrum as the guy, but there is no way I'd call him a "no brainer"!!!

He is as smart as the day is long, and ignore that and we'll be dealing with him for another four years. My gut feeling is that the guy actually knows that we need this both for economic and security reasons. But there was no way he was going to take a hard stand on the issue now, knowing that a yes meant p'ing off his support with the environmental extremists and a no would have the same result with the labor crowd.

The Republicans thought they had boxed the fox in on this issue with mandating he make a decision ... but look who had the last laugh.

Do not think the results of this election are a given!!!

I agree with you there, that really pissed me off too. We have plenty of our own oil too but the power's that be don't want us to drill for it, that's politics for ya!
