I don't fall on the same side of the political spectrum as the guy, but there is no way I'd call him a "no brainer"!!!

He is as smart as the day is long, and ignore that and we'll be dealing with him for another four years. My gut feeling is that the guy actually knows that we need this both for economic and security reasons. But there was no way he was going to take a hard stand on the issue now, knowing that a yes meant p'ing off his support with the environmental extremists and a no would have the same result with the labor crowd.

The Republicans thought they had boxed the fox in on this issue with mandating he make a decision ... but look who had the last laugh.

Do not think the results of this election are a given!!!

I agree with you there, that really pissed me off too. We have plenty of our own oil too but the power's that be don't want us to drill for it, that's politics for ya!

RE: gas prices I like how the recent jobs report is that a huge number were created and unemployment rate is falling and low and behold gas goes up.

You can blame them SOBs slinger on wall street its not the oil co`s that set the prices they don`t care up there most walk, ride bike,train,bus.taxi....Bill
