Jim is Treeeeemendous. Heck of good person too. Electronics well I am sure he can show you how he uses his, but March is not a real big time off shore month to be honest.

http://www.robertsfishntackle.com/

Great guy and good stick......not much on the electronics though.

Tgutie (posting handle here) He runs a Bass Cat and has HDS units AND 1100 series Hbirds that he runs at the same time. He is just starting out in the guiding business, but im sure he could put you on fish and show you some tricks with the fishfinders.

I may be able to help you out as well, depending on which days in March. My 08 Bullet has Lowrance electronics and my 2011 z521 has 1100 series Humminbirds.....I am picking up the ranger tomorrow and I am not familiar with Hbirds, but plan on getting familiar with em real soon....lol.

Regardless of who choose, start making those calls/messages now. It will be REAL tough booking anybody for this March, but people cancel everyday.

Gl out there!

Skeet,

Most of them are book solid. These guys are making the most out of it but they still need time for their families and other important stuff. Lots guides but one of the best is booked from now till April so I can't imagine the other great ones have much availability with such planning. Never know may get lucky but I doubt it. Best of luck.

In no particular order:
Jim Behnken
Jim Edwards
Robert Amaya
Keith Combs

I have fished all of them and would do so again. There are several others as well but I have not fished with them.

I'll give you a full day out there in March but it's not going to be cheap. $750 for 12 hours of fishing.

I just got home from Falcon today. I spent 3 days with Dannie Golden, www.get-bit.com. We smoked the fish. Yesterday had 64. Best 5 were 39 lbs 9 oz with a couple of double digit fish lost. Big fish and big numbers every day. He's a lot of fun to fish with too.

I booked my trip out there a year in advance for march. We got Jim Behnken, Robert Amaya , Speedy Collet and Gary Harlan. 7 other buddies wanted to tag along this year. I used Jim Behnken last year and had one of the best days of fishing ever.

Your money would have been better off buying some eBay instructional dvd's on how to read your Humminbingbird electronics, that your daddy bought you, Rather than wasting my time son.

$750 worth of allowance could have gotten you more knowledge of this lake than you could have obtained from most sources but now your stuck in right field with your brand new Bass Pro graphs.

Good luck. Watch out for the gill nets young fellow. Enjoy the redbulla and vodkelea.

Best of luck with your guide quest. My rates remain the same. $750 for 12 hours and additional $200 tip for the lack of respect.
