Nice! Marshall Creek looks like a nice place for a short trip. I have never been there, but I live pretty close. Is the boat ramp on Trophy park Drive? Any fees?

Nice! Marshall Creek looks like a nice place for a short trip. I have never been there, but I live pretty close. Is the boat ramp on Trophy park Drive? Any fees? Park entrance is at the end of Trophy Park Drive (I think that's the road). Signs will lead you to the boat ramp from there. $1 entry fee for vehicles, $5 I think if you are pulling a trailer. Automated entry system. Only bad thing is the park closes at 6pm this time of year (according to the signs). I'm always late leaving and paranoid that one of these days they are going to lock the gate on me.

Congrats on sliming your new yak...and for having a wife who is cool enough to kayak with you.

I have no doubt that you and your new Pungo 120 had a most excellent maiden voyage. All I can say is welcome to the Pungo family. If not already, she will become your favorite kayak.
Bring 'em out soon for one of our Thursday evening Hydro-Therapy sessions at White Rock Lake! BTW, the concerts begin in May.

Looking forward to it ... will probably have to wait until the time changes and the days are longer, but as soon as "Father Sun" allows, we'll be there!
