Eliminate as much water as you can. This lake is frustrating to fish because everywhere you look "should hold" fish. It is also probably running pretty good right now with the rain. Perch are the preferred bait since there are so many of them but shad can be found if you are patient. This lake is also a cast net eater to say the least. Go where the smaller sloughs feed into the bigger ones and set up there. Those small sloughs concentration the bait and it is not u common to see bait balls coming out of them by the thousands. It normally takes me a day or two to do this but eventually you will figure it out if you keep yours eyes open.
