Fishing Fork in February is suspect at best, and on any given day you can catch a few or bomb out.
I don't promote Feb highly for this reason.
For individual anglers that want to fish with a guide, by themselves, but the $400 fee is just too high to accept, I'm going to make a special deal, Feb. only.
$225 a day (till 4 pm), just you and I in the boat looking for fish.
No PMs, phone calls only.
Home phone (903) 383-2864, leave message.
Richard.

Yes sir, I am and have been a licensed guide on Lake Fork since 1983.
I introduced myself about a week ago on the Bass Fishing forum.

Wasn't offended, I know I'm not out front much anymore.
Thanks.
Just hoping to offer a service to those that can't afford the normal guide fees, as just 1 person makes my day easier, and I hope to be able to help some learn.

Richard is considered by a LOT of guides on Lake Fork to be the best fisherman on Fork. He is insanely smart and has a ton...I repeat a TON of knowledge to offer.

There are quit a few more guides on Fork than post on TFF. The good thing about Richard is he catches big fish but doesn't LIE about it...he is black & white and doesnt stretch the truth to get more trips and gain popularity. I spent 5 hours picking this mans brain the other day and if he says it....you can take it to the bank!

....one of the best, if not the best on the Lake and has been since mid 80's, I can remember seeing Richard fishing as a little kid on the lake and my old man would say get ready we are in a good spot if he's here.

Bump for ya man!

If I'm not mistaken he has more total weight in the Lunker Program than any other angler and I recall another 13+ that was caught in the summer. Also his words carry weight that would break an ordinary man's jaw. He is the "Most..........LOL

How do we know this guy is qualified to guide on Fork???

Yeah, he's qualified alright. One of the best of the best on the lake. Richard has forgotten more about Fork than most will know. He has a genuine talent for putting himself around big fish. He is one of the few guys that I know that can pull onto a spot and evaluate it in a matter of minutes. His ability to read water and adapt is what separates Richard from a bunch of the others. I've spent many hours in the boat with him and I've fished against him many times (normally came up short)

If you wanna learn how to fish a jig or Texas rigged soft plastics at close range He is The Man.

Fished with Richard today under some nasty conditions for the first half of the day. Managed 13 fish between us 4 to 7 lbs.

Richard caught 8 of them LOL..

He's a great fisherman and guide. I will definitely be booking another trip with him real soon. This guy knows Fork and how to fish it as good as anyone.

We went out yesterday with just as bad weather, and we only managed 4 total. Rough day
