What are the water temps out there I need help I've been skunked the last 2 days.

Grapevine was 54-57 on 2-1 if that helps any.

The Great and Mighty RedRanger think it best you change your handle to "Skunked".

Temps are averaging 55. Big Bass caught deep on cut shad, must be threadfin, though 15-18ft. Stripers and sandies are being found in mouths of creeks using tailspinners and A-rigs, catfish seemed to be suspended in 4ft of water off grass lines using t-rig, c-rig, or ur-rig. With the Open soon to be here, please don't share with anyone on the lake with BASS patches on their pockets. You can PM me for additional info about bottom feeders.....























Sorry to be sarcastic, but more than likely you will not receive any valuable info until after the BASS Open which will be held Feb9-11. Bite has been very tough, when you get on one, fish the whole area thoroughly. Find the bait or move on. I can tell you that the bass have been grouped up like I've never seen them before. Okie, You should of entered the Pro Side instead of the Co Angler side.

Your guy will probably run straight to the damn and camp there all day throwing a jig on the rock or shakey head.

Or what if he boat decides to not run that day, or his Trolling Motor goes belly up

Are you anchoring or drifting?

Carolina rigging it on some type of suspending rig?

water temps are holding aroung 49 to 52 degrees, but this weekend will bring it down a little with rain and low high temps, fish are in hiding mode, afraid that KVD might be making an apearance, and there is no parking around the fishing barge for the next week. good luck.
