Going back in May. Love this place. Running over to Caye Caulker and Corazal Town.

I went there years ago, and would love to go back. It has to be one of the greatest places on Earth. now i went back before the cruise ships started going to Belize. We stayed at San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. The resort we stayed at was small huts. Seriously there was a thatch roof, and all, but it was awesome. The reef there is the second largest on Earth behind the Great Barrier Reef. I only went snorkeling then, but would love to go diving there.

Ratz, the place you are talking about is where we stayed last year. We are staying on the north end of the island this trip. You are right Ambergris Caye is one of the best places on earth. San Pedro is just a great place to hang out. Love that town.

BassNJam...Land at Belize City Airport, get on a pond hopper out to Ambergris Caye. From there you can take water taxis or pond hoppers to Caulker or Corazal. Belize City is kind of rough. That is where the cruise ships unload. The Cayes are awesome.

It's a short flight from Belize City to the island, about 30min in a small twin engine. When we went there was one pilot and about 7 passengers. I rode in the right seat next to the pilot.
